Margaret is Chair of Trustees of Goole Civic Society, Chair of the Yorkshire and Humber Association of Civic Societies and a Trustee of Castaway Accessible Music Theatre in Goole.
Until her retirement, she was Head of Operations for the Press Association (now PA Media), the UK’s national news, sports and multimedia agency, and was responsible for the company’s Operations Centre in Howden. Prior to joining the Press Association, she was Assistant Editor of the Yorkshire Post.
