Joseph is Managing Director of Jos. Richardson & Son Ltd, a fifth-generation family business which originated in Goole in 1892.

The company operates petrol stations and convenience stores with the main site being ‘Glews Services’ at Junction 36 of the M62. Joseph has sat on the Boards of Goole Renaissance and the Local Growth Partnership.

He is a current member of the Humber LEP Business Development Board and Chairman of Goole Town Deal Board. Joseph said “The role of the private sector is integral to creating a successful Town Deal that drives investment, adds value and creates the conditions for Goole to thrive.  I’m delighted to lead the Board from project conception, developing the Town Investment Plan through to programme delivery.”
