Goole Design Project survey; have your say!

We’re sharing this update on behalf of Kim Hubball Studio, a graphic design studio that has been tasked with creating a new illustrative identity for Goole. We would encourage local people to share their views to help shape this exciting project:

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has secured UK Shared Prosperity (UKSPF) funding to support this project, which is all about choosing colours, patterns and local landmarks that feel true to our town. The final designs will appear on lamp post banners, bunting, stickers, and other promotional materials for use around Goole.

Your views will help us choose the colours and images that best represent our community, so please answer the following questions to tell us what you like and what feels right for Goole.

1). What is your connection to Goole?

2). What do you love most about Goole?

3). Where do you like to go for food/drink in Goole?

4). What hidden treasures would you show to visitors to the town?

5). What slogan would you put on a ‘Welcome to Goole’ sign?

6). If Goole were a colour, what would it be and why?

7). What photos would you put on a postcard of the town?

  • Email  your answers to the above questions to hello@kimhubball.co.uk or, alternatively, drop them in to the Design Survey tray at Goole Library. The closing date for all responses is 6 February, 2026.
