On Wednesday, 3 March, the Chancellor announced 45 of the total 101 Town Funds areas that have had their funding confirmed as part of the Budget. This equates to £1.02billion in total.
These towns submitted their bids in Cohort 2 in October 2020.
Goole submitted a bid for a Town Deal in January this year, as part of Cohort 3, and a decision is anticipated from the Government in the next few months.
We congratulate all 45 towns which were announced yesterday.
