The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, on 1 November 2019, launched a prospectus for a £3.6bn Towns Fund, established to address growth constraints and provide core public investment.
Goole, along with 100 other towns, has been invited to develop proposals to bid for up to £25m.

The Towns Fund offers Goole the opportunity to design and deliver a tailored and localised investment plan that is bespoke and unique to the town. It will analyse and evaluate its strengths, resources, complexities and challenges in order to propose a series of prioritised interventions for funding.
